District Fall Leadership Conferences are held to provide:

2011 District Fall Leadership Conferences

The purpose of the District Fall Leadership Conferences is to provide a free, activity to begin the school year for interested schools in participating in the SkillsUSA program of work.  

 

ACTIVITIES

·       Introduction to SkillsUSA and overview of activities available to students and teachers.

·       Election of District Officers

o  District Officer application form must be turned in at conference

o  Candidate should prepare a 1 minute speech

·       Tour of host site, when possible

Please contact the Lead Advisor for your District  Fall Leadership Conference to let them know that you will be attending.  Schools in the SE District must complete a registration form to be sent out by Becky Warren.

District Officer application forms should be sent to the Lead Advisor 10 days prior to the date of your district's conference per all District Constitutions, however, they may be turned in at registration in order to allow and encourage as many students to run for office as possible.
